Actually the United Methodist Church in Schaffhausen is not in the position to offer worship services in English - but such a service is only a 30 minutes car-ride away from Schaffhausen. The Winterthur Congregation of the United Methodist Church (Evangelisch-methodistische Kirche Winterthur) warmly invites you to join their English language worship service.
As from January 2010 they will be meeting for worship on the second Sunday of the month at 7:30 pm in their church in Winterthur.
Mixing traditional and contemporary styles the service is designed for all who would like to worship in English, feel more comfortably worshiping in English or you just want to worship God and improve your English at the same time.
The Winterthur Methodist Church is part of Evangelisch-methodistische Kirche (EMK)- Schweiz which in turn is part of the international United Methodist Church which has over 10 million members in North America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Please inform our hosts at the entrance that you are English speaking. We will make sure that the preacher avoids to held the sermon in Swiss-German dialect and/or one of our English speaking members will guide you through the service.
